He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Abrams and Sadie Abrams (Mandell); his brother Louis Abrams (Adrean (Freede)); and his brothers-in-law, Louis Pokat and Dr. Robert Goldstein.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Connor Abrams; his siblings, Phyllis Pokat of Las Vegas and Leonard Abrams (Jan Berger) of Rowley; his siblings-in-law, Marybeth O'Connor (Richard Riccio) and Dr. John T. O'Connor (Patrice Peterson); his nephew Thomas O'Connor (Laudelene); his goddaughter Vanessa Norkus Cakuls (Andris); and his daughters, Lilia and Aria. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
