He is survived by: his wife Denise Joyce Pearson; his children, Channa Monique McFarlane-Williams (Mike), Kenyamo Arkim McFarlane, Sr. (Emily) and Rashaad "Lil Goat" Hasani Pearson (Rina); his grandchildren, Kaylani Durant, Ayanna Pearson, Malaya Pearson, Elijah Clark, Kenyamo McFarlane, Jr. and Kaliyah McFarlane; his siblings, Marilyn Hawthorne, Khadija "Joan" Diouf, Robert Pearson and Carlton Preston; and his aunt Vera Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
