She is survived by: her sons, John "Toottie" Hawkins (Mattie) of Clayton, NC, Ernest "Layne" Hawkins (Crystal) of Wake Forest, NC and Tyrell Boston; her grandchildren, John Hawkins II, Teshome Garner (Melissa), Wayne Garner, Ernest Hawkins II and Erin Hawkins; her great grandchildren, Teshome M. Garner, John Hawkins III, Kenden Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins and Trece'e Garner; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Freeman (Robert), Georgia Mae Jacobs (late Stanford) and Floyd McGeachy (late Doris); her friend Ernestine; her cousin Minister Allegra Moses (Ernestine); her niece Elayne "Ann" McGee; her goddaughter Phyllis Brown; and her family Baltimore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
