He is survived by: his children, April Adams, Pamela Adams, Melvin Adams, Angelo Adams, Ngozi Massey and Umi Adams; and his siblings, Lenora Rhodes, Darlene Adams and Anthony Adams. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
