He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Constance B. Braxton and Julius L. Braxton; and his uncle Shawn D. Braxton. He is survived by: his mother Patria Braxton; his father-in-law Charles Nelson Jr.; his uncle Julius L. Braxton Jr.; his siblings, Shay T. Braxton (Jacqueline), Kayla Q. Nelson, Kaden A. Nelson, Danielle A. Lawrence, Lamar A. Cruse (Angel), Ian J. Cruse and Ashleigh J. A. Griffin; his nieces, Jaelyn and Amari; his close friend Dakesha Atkinson; and his father Anthony J. Cruse. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A wake was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chatman-Harris Funeral Home West (5240-44 Reisterstown Rd, Baltimore, MD 21215). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
