He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Griffin; and his brother Clifton Whitaker Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Griffin; his daughter Kenya Griffin; his stepson Jerry; his brother Cory; his sibling's children, Kapre, Rashad, CJ, Larry and Marquise; his brother-in-law John M. Chapman Jr. (Joyce); his goddaughters, Mesha and LeiLani; and his godfather Woody. He is also survived by several cousins, close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chatman-Harris Funeral Home East (4210 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206).
