He is survived by: his wife Clara "Roxanne" Heath; his stepson Donte Battle; his children, Denise Heath, JoAnn Hobbs (Time) and Gregory Heath; his siblings, John Allen Heath, Mattie Dorothy Harris, Lula B. Harris and Janie "Yvonne" Melvin; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Heath, Melissa Solomon (Sherwood), Gowasha Williams (Tony), Willette Owens (Alton), Sherita Owens, Pattie Johns, Joseph Johnson Sr. and Samuel Lee Johns Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
