She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Ritter and Clara Ritter (Miller); her husband Charles T. Schwab; and her siblings, LeRoy Ritter, Lloyd Ritter and Nancy Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Schwab, Charlene Schwab, Lisa Schwab, Anita Zickafoose (Jerry) and Stacey Colbert; her grandchildren, Alex, Aaron, Chynna, Tabby, Asia, Tyus, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Ariel, Mickey, Shymeria, Ethan, Trinity, Pierre, Cashton and Londyn; her niece Missy; and her nephews, Carl and Steve. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
