She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wanchope Palmer and Ethlyn Kelly Sincleir; and her brothers, Clifford Wanchope Kelly and Leroy Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Craig Wanchope (Carla) and Regina McPherson (Noyle); her granddaughters, Caliyah Wanchope, Christel Wanchope, Cerryann Wanchope, Sarai McPherson and Rachel McPherson; and her siblings, Vicente Wanchope Kelly, Julia Gibson and Florencia Gibson. She is also survived by cousins, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes - Westside Chapel (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery (8501 S 8th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
