Ford Jr. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 77, on April 21, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Ford and Mozell Ford (Scott); and his siblings, George Ashley, Maude Lawson, Hazel Burney, Ruth Ford and Perkins Ford.

He is survived by : his uncle Author (Builder); his pets, Breeder, Driver, Engineer, Gardener, Historian, Musician, Mechanic, Motivator, Photographer, Singer, Sportsman, Degree, Inventor, Landscaper, Thinker, Traveler, Trainer and Worker; his wife Beverly Ford; his children, Debra Brown (Jamal), Denise Endriss (Scott), Dionne Ford, Natalie Wilson (Aaron), Frederick Ford (Jennifer) and Douglas Ford (Hadley Sauers-Ford); his grandchildren, Damien, Markis Moon (Ma'kayla Nuckles), Yudhistira, Arjuna, Bima Utomo, Jordon Jones, Daysia, Desmond Ford, Isaiah, Abraham Ford and Alexandria Wilson; his great grandchild Ja'nari Moon; and his sisters, Wanda Balque, Ethel James and Mary Ford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
