It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Ann Douglas of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Doug; her siblings, Charles Root III, Richard Root, Franklin Root, Dixie Martin, Marylou Roberts, Phyllis Root and Pat Root Bodtke; and her parent Charles Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Bair (Jack), Ava Berkley (Scott), James "Doug" Douglas (Kathy) and Gina Crossley (Scott); and her siblings, Hope Rob, Glory Ammerman, Barry Root, Stanley Root, Brandy Root and Toni Garrett. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
