He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Aukerman and Barbara Aukerman (Heighton); his siblings, Ricky, Robert Aukerman and Dianne Deem; his son-in-law Timmy Blanton; and his father-in-law Stanley Warren.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Aukerman (Warren); his children, Dana Blanton (Chad Tassell) and Tyler Aukerman (Hailie); his siblings, Dave Aukerman (Debra) and Brenda Roe (Chet); his grandson Easton "Bud" Blanton; his mother-in-law Hazel Warren; and his grandson Bentlee. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
