She is survived by: her mother Julia Spurlock; her brothers, Jimmy and Prez Spurlock; her husband Cleophia Palmore (Joe); her children, Kyle Palmore, Kevin Palmore and Jacquelyn Palmore; and her caregivers, Arnell, Alison, Amy, Jessica, Tina and Isaac.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Bessie's memory to organizations supporting dementia research or hospice care, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
