A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bobbi will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorial Contributions may be made to Autism Alliance of Michigan, in c/o the funeral home.

Bobbi Jeannine Gilbert age 66 of Kalamazoo passed away Tuesday evening, September 8, 2026. Bobbi was born in Kalamazoo on June 25, 1960, the daughter of Wendell Gaylon and Michelle Wanda Lee (Chapman) Gilbert. Bobbi was an avid reader. She also had enjoyed crocheting. She was a phenomenal cook. Her family remembers her lasagna and stuffed peppers. Bobbi was well-loved and will be greatly missed. More than anything she liked spending time with her son, Heath Lewis who survives her. Bobbi is also survived by her sister, Kathy Kissinger; brother Steve (Tammie) Gibson; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents.
