In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Knapper and Tresa Knapper (Potgeisser); and her husband Marvin Block. She is survived by: her children, Steven Block (Mary Beth) and Lynn Rocca; her grandchildren, Sidney Block, Dante Rocca and Berkley Rocca; and her sister Dorothy Carlisle.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Portage Zhang Senior Center (203 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002).
