She was predeceased by : her parents, Gus Chumas and Naomi Pollock. She is survived by : her husband John "Jack" Leipzig; her sons, Roger Kooi (Kim), Christopher Kooi (Tammie) and David Kooi (Kellie); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Perini (Chris), Maggie Kooi, Emma Kooi, Chloe Kooi, Jeremy Kooi, Alyssa Krill (Ryan) and Molly Kooi; and her stepgrandchildren, Gunnar Valk and Karsyn Valk. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church or Kalamazoo Community Chorale.
