Carol will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Erik Schreiner. She is survived by: her children, Mark of Otsego, John of Beverly, Massachusetts and Karen Desmottes of Paris, France. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes (6080 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kalamazoo First Presbyterian Church (321 W South St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to: The Erik Schreiner Scholarship Fund, Department of Mathematics, or the School of Music at Western Michigan University, or to Loaves and Fishes.
