She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Barea and Beverly Barea (Howell). She is survived by: her brother Bruce Barea (Anne) of Battle Creek; her sibling's children, Leigh Barea of Kenosha and Louis Barea (Mikayla) of Troy; her great-niece Avery Barea; her nephew Dr. Michael "Mickey" Barea of Battle Creek; her aunt Rita Bienkowski of Mt. Clemens, Michigan.; her significant other Jack Masters of Battle Creek; and her significant other's son Jace Masters.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 12111 Helmer Rd S, Battle Creek, MI 49015.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chubby Goat Acres in Schoolcraft, Michigan or to Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, New York.
