She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Treat and Maxine Treat (Hall). She is survived by: her children, Miles Goretzka (Shae), Matt Goretzka (Betsy Black) and Marcy McCauley (Jake); her grandchildren, Drew Goretzka of Alyssa Goretzka, R. J, Nichols, Sophia McKinnon and Lucy McKinnon; her stepson Ray Nichols; and her sister Paulette Maxam (late Dean).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Applegate Community Center (6283 Belgian Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
