He is survived by: his children, Joanna "Annie" Eckrich (Peter Holmquist) of Grand Rapids and David Paul Eckrich (Cassandra) of Ann Arbor; his siblings, Beth Baker (Dan), Andrew Foster Eckrich of Kalamazoo, Matthew Todd Eckrich (Patricia) of Hanahan, SC and Susan Frances Doty of New Orleans, LA; and his friend Christine Soergel Eckrich of Kalamazoo.
