Dennis Bruce Hauck Obituary
Services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 with a visitation at noon with the funeral following at 1 pm at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Interment will be Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made to the Tunnel to Towers, SPCA of Southwest Michigan or American Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank Brookdale Memory Care in Portage for all the good care he received while he was there.
Age 83 of Kalamazoo passed away on Sunday December 14, 2025 at Brookdale Memory Care in Portage. He was born on April 29, 1942 in Kalamazoo to Donald R. and Dorothy (Jeffers) Hauck. Dennis dedicated over 40 years of his life to his career as a Respiratory Therapist and retired from Pennock Hospital in Hasting, Michigan. In 1962, Dennis married Linda VanErkle. They had two sons, Russ (Emily) Hauck and Jeff (Janet) Hauck. He was the oldest of three sons, Don (Beth) Hauck and Dave (Debb) Hauck. He had a special friend for over 45 years, Darlene Reitz. He had nieces, Dawn (David) Geiger, Mandy Richman, Brandy Clark, Jennifer (Greg Walters) Gilligan and nieces and nephews in the extended family, which was Larry (Becky) Davis, Joe Reitz, Todd Davis, Drew Davis, Debbie Stinnett and Chad Reitz. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife Linda.
