He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold MacLeay and Frances "Helen" MacLeay (Patnoude); his wife Mary Lou Sears; and his sister Constance Dekker. He is survived by: his sons, David MacLeay (Yvonne), Daniel MacLeay (Patricia) and Douglas MacLeay (Christine); and his grandchildren, Denise, Traverse, Donald, Sarah, Nicholas and Amy. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
