She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Reed and Leila Ruth Reed (Davis); her sister Brenda; her granddaughter Natalie; and her sister-in-law Cheryl.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her children, Laura (Conrad) of Chicago, IL, Mark (Nancy) of Santa Barbara, CA and Jennifer (John) of Oakland, CA; her grandchildren, Quenten Gilliam, Dylana Lambert-Gilliam, Miles Lambert-Gilliam, Julia Lambert-Gilliam, Jack Lambert, Charlie Lambert, Katie Lambert, Maggie Polyzoides and Henry Polyzoides; and her brothers, Tom (Dawn) and Ricky. She is also survived by her family and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kalamazoo College or the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.
