He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Stapert and Dorothy Stapert (Morren). He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Brett Stapert (Shellie), Andrew "Andy" Stapert (Angelica) and Erika Spivack (Aaron); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kendall, Ana-Lucia, Cayden and Jaxon; and his brothers, Bruce Stapert (Freda), Bryan Stapert (Lauretta) and Bradley Stapert (Bonny). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
