In accordance with her wish, cremation will take place and private family remembrances will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in honor of Edna's generous and giving heart.

Edna Charlene Thomas age 84, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at Lifecare Center of Plainwell. She was born in Arkansas on September 6, 1941. Edna was the heart of her family. A kind, loving, and caring soul, she had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued and loved. Her warmth, gentle spirit and selfless nature touched the lives of all who knew her. To know Edna was to love her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into every moment-whether it was through a comforting hug, a home-cooked meal, words of encouragement or simply being there. Edna's legacy is one of love, kindness and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Edna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Tim and Ernie; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Her love was a gift that will remain with us always.
