She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Scales and Iva L. Brant Scales; her former husband John L. Cottrell; and her nephew Nathan William Cottrell. She is survived by: her spouse Montanan (Jack Cottrell); her sister Gloria-Jean Pataky; her children, Craig (Sue), Laurie (Keno) and Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Madison and Jordan-Marie.
