With solemn reverence, we commemorate Greta Rey of Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose life came to an end on August 19, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Rey and Gertrude Rey (Broekema); her sister Doris Rey; and her cousins, Donna Penning and Joyce Gjeltema.
She is survived by: her cousins, Ruth Fletcher (Bruce) and John Rey; her son Joshua Jacobs (Tyler); her grandsons, Xavier and Zachary; her children, Jeremiah Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs and Greta; Gary Penning (Sally), Carol Morgan (David), Timothy Penning (Lauri) and Christopher Penning (Dawn). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kalamazoo Christian Schools Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
