With sadness, we share the passing of Henry Thompson Holland (Kalamazoo, Michigan). Henry, born on February 13, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Holland and Charlotte "Star" O'Brien; and his sister Starr Hagenmeyer. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Thompson Holland II of Traverse City and John Horton Holland of Stoughton, Wisconsin; his wife Krystal Holland of Traverse City, Michigan; his brother Nelson Holland of Ann Arbor, Michigan; his children, Nathan Holland of Ilfracombe, England and Jennifer Holland of Oakland; and his grandsons, Conor Thompson Holland, Fergus Thompson Holland and Henry Thompson Holland III.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Langeland Westside Chapel (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Haven Church (5350 N Sprinkle Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004).
