She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Buck and Herma Buck (Reynolds) of Birmingham, Michigan.; her sister Sallie; and her daughter Carrie. She is survived by: her husband Dr. George Mallinson; her children, Cyrus (Carol), Virginia (Ginni) and Charles (Chuck); her son-in-law Rick; her grandchildren, Gayle (David), Holly, James (Yuliya), Melissa (Kris), Travis (Rachel), Dustin (Bailey), Matthew (Hanna), David (Caroline), Sarah (Kylee) and Kristine (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Blake, Coburn, Elliot, Eustace, Violet, Clara, Bennet, Theodore, Jack and Nicholas; her nephew Thomas; and her great-niece Amy (Wade).
