He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barker and Anna Barker (Penny) of Kalamazoo; and his siblings, William and Cheryl. He is survived by: his niece Allison Christy; his granddaughter Avery Barker; his friend Paul; his grandson Adam; his wife Connie; his children, Christina Reita (Ken) and Adam Barker (Erin); his grandchildren, Brody, Remy, Ava and Gavin James; and his siblings, Brenda, Bob and Jean.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Fisher House Foundation, building comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital.
