He is survived by: his sons, Jason Bennett, Nathan Bennett (Heather) and Bryan Bennett (Brea); his grandchildren, Olivia, Brittany, Kalissa and Kaleb Bennett; his brothers, Thomas Bennett (Judy) and John Bennett; and his stepfather Harold Langeland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Northeastern Baptist Church.
