We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 62, James Byron Carroll (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Byron may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Amy; his sons, Jake and Nick; his siblings, Bruce, Barbara and Dave (Lauren); and his in-laws, Dan, Joyce McClellan, David and Eric McClellan (Sarah). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services - Westside (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
