She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Bouma and Gertrude Bouma (Kiel); her husband Herm Franke; and her siblings, John Bouma and Eleanor Batts.

She is survived by: her former husband Herman H. Franke; her daughters, Lynn Osterhouse (Jeff), Barb Razenberg (Bob) and Cheryl VerMeulen (Ty); her grandchildren, Andrea Blodgett (Chris), Kelli Douglas (Joshua), Brandon Osterhouse (Ariel), Zachary Razenberg (Megan), McKena Razenberg, Tara Razenberg, Tyler VerMeulen (Aubrey), Samuel VerMeulen (Hanna) and Jacob VerMeulen; her great grandchildren, Addison, Alexis, Andrew Blodgett, Jordyn, Jackson Douglas, Lucas VerMeulen and Natalee Osterhouse; her sisters, Dorothy Balkema (John) and Beverly Mepyans (Paul); and her parents-in-law, Mary Franke and Mick Bouma. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
