With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John G. Ling III (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Hart, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John G. II and Vinetta B. Ling (Quay); his wife Vickie Lynn Whited; and his siblings, James Ling and Vicky Boyer.

He is survived by : his sons, Alvin (Cindy), Robert (Cortney) and John IV Ling (Anta); his grandchildren, Curtis, Brandon (Shannon), Jacob, Ryan, Rilee, Madison and Mackenzie Ling; his great grandchild Robert Brooks; his sisters, Wendy Mapes (Don) and Annie Isley (Rick); and his brother-in-law Bud Boyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
