Jack Wozek lit a candle

“My deepest condolences. I crossed paths with Dr. Santas as a UIUC student in the 90’s. He was a great champion of international studies; and thanks to his passion countless students had unique opportunities to study abroad through ACES programs. As faculty advisor to ISA, he also accompanied students on study tours of Brazil and South Africa. To this day, I value these experiences he made possible. What a privilege to know him; he was a gentleman, teacher, counselor, mentor, friend. RIP”

“Dear Sandra and family, it is with great sadness that we learnt that John passed away. We keep fond memories of his visits to Toulouse and Purpan here in France. We very much enjoyed working with him, he was at the beginning of the partnership between ACES & Purpan back in 1995! I remember strolling down the Garonne river with him when he first arrived, and we always enjoyed when you came too Sandra (Carcassonne, Albi...). With our deepest sympathies, Sarah Prince & Béatrice Rose, IRO Purpan”
