With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joyce Thran (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose life came to an end on August 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Maxine; her grandmother Myrtle; her husbands, Richard Combs and Daniel Thran; her sister Sheila; and her brother-in-law George.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Simon (Mike), Laura Combs, Jenifer Townsend (Rob), John Combs (Ingrid) and Michael Combs (Shannan); her grandchildren, Andrew, Mary, Molly, Cooper, Avery, Marilyn, Justin, Sydney and Mike; and her close friends, Liz, Pat and Char.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church's Food Pantry where Joyce spent many hours in service to those in need.
