We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 87, Judith Lyn Bard of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Johnston and Juanita Johnston (Emerick); her daughter Brenda Doss; and her nieces and nephews, DeeDee Thomet, Diane Homan and Todd Thomet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra VanOrder (Jim) of Scotts and Sandra Bard of Portage; her grandchildren, Deena Cummins (Cory) of Portage, Dustin Cummins of Scotts, Sarah Ruhland (Zachary) of Atlanta, Georgia and Jeff Doss (Katie) of Kalamazoo; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Collins and John; and her sisters, June Smith of Jackson, Myra Thomet of Traverse City, Marlene Kirst (Jim) of Florida, Krista Johnston of Union City and Kathy Bochenski (Hank) of Arizona. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to Gull Arbor Senior Living, 7788 E. DE Avenue, Richland, MI 49083.
