Judith Gaspar Obituary

Age 85 of Kalamazoo passed away Saturday morning, August 9, 2025. Judy was born in Benton Harbor, on October 22, 1939, the daughter of Bernard Vernon and Jane Alida (Beveridge) Bachman. Judy was a Road Scholar traveler. She loved and supported the arts of all kinds. She was a master seamstress, knitter and needle pointer. She was an advocate of equal rights for all Americans. She had worked for many years as a teacher and had also been a social worker. Her passion was gardening and farming. Judy is survived by her children, Teresa Gaspar of Washington, DC, Steven (Dawn) Gaspar of Ridgefield, WA, Patricia Gaspar of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren; many friends including a special friend, Bruce Vanden Bosch. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bruce Bachman.
