Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Karen for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sylvester and Opel Sylvester (Sackett); her husband Ray; and her brother Jack Sylverster. She is survived by: her children, James Hayes (Ellisa), Judy Stull (Howard) and Patti Haaksma (Gary); her sister Pat West; and her sister-in-law Patty Sylvester. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and even one great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 7509 S Westnedge Ave, Portage, MI 49002.
