Age 74 of Kalamazoo went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, January 25, 2025. Kathy was born in Kalamazoo on May 7, 1950, the daughter of Charles and Jacqueline (Mulder) Kelley. On January 5, 1968, she married John Lewis III, who survives her. Kathy attended Comstock High School. She enjoyed bowling and had won league championships. She also enjoyed shopping, decorating and gardening. She could get an adrenaline rush when she would skydive, parasail or ride a motorcycle. She loved roller coasters. The scariest roller coaster in the park was not enough to stop her. Kathy was a Christian and member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Comstock. Besides her husband, Kathy is survived by her children, John C. Lewis, Craig (Diane) Lewis, Kelly Hatfield Lewis; grandchildren, Whitney (Rob) Lewis, Taylor (Tom Griffioen) Reed-Lewis, David (Molly) Hatfield, John (Kay) Lewis, Ridge (Gillian) Lewis; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Moore, Carol (Dennis) Espinosa, Deb (Keith) Cornell, Crystal (Len) Reid; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley Kelley, Sharon Kelley; brothers, Douglas Falls, Chris Falls.
