Keith R. Hook Obituary

In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and he requested no services be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alanon Club or Kalamazoo Community Mental Health, c/o the funeral home.

Age 67, passed away at his home on July 6, 2024. He was born in Kalamazoo on July 10, 1956, the son of the late Norbert and Mary (Burkett) Hook. He attended Loy Norrix and Portage Central High School. He would remain in Kalamazoo and was always a proud supporter of his community. Keith was kind, loving and generous. His heart and his home were always open to those in need. He had a strong faith in the Lord which helped him through many struggles. Keith was very handy and loved to tinker with and fix things. When able, he enjoyed spending time outside planting flowers and tending to his landscape. Above all Keith loved his family. He was a dedicated and involved son, brother and uncle who leaves behind many wonderful memories to be cherished. He was a fun uncle who really loved to spend time with the younger children of the family, teaching them all kinds of activities and adventures. Keith is survived by his sister, Kathy Ball; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by a sister, Linda Smith; nephew, Jordan Ball; great-nephew, Austin Lincomfelt.
