He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Heikka and Allie Heikka (Anderson); and his siblings, Robert and Wally. He is survived by: his son John Heikka (Sharon) of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, JJ and Clara; his siblings, Karen Hendon (Paul), Ralph Heikka (Ivy) and Pete Heikka (Betty) of Houghton; and his sister-in-law Pat. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winkel Funeral Home (207 E Allegan St, Otsego, MI 49078). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
