Kenneth Anderson age 79 of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday, August 1, 2026. Ken was born on September 3, 1946, the son of Howard and Omega June (Connor) Anderson. On September 9, 2021, he married Shelley Gay Holcomb who survives him. Ken was a music lover. He especially loved Mo-town and rhythm and blues. He enjoyed being out in nature. He loved animals of all kinds but especially dogs. He liked going camping and enjoyed watching the sunsets over Lake Michigan. He will be remembered as being a kind and generous person. Besides his wife, Ken is survived by his sons, Justin Anderson and Kenneth David Anderson II; grandchildren; Kenneth David Anderson III and Jasmine Anderson; siblings, Theodore (Audra) Anderson, Paul Anderson, Chris Martinez, Margaret Martinez Keenan, Kathy Quezada, Georgia Munoz & Edward Trujillo; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents: daughter, Tonya Anderson Sterba. sister, Cindy Nelson and Grand Daughter Tiara Anderson Sterba.
