We announce the death of Kent Kooyers of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Kooyers (Hambright); his brother Lance Kooyers; and his parents, Dormilee "Dee" Kooyers and Edwin "Bud" Kooyers. He is survived by: his children, Loriel Donaghy (Gerard), Gabriel Kooyers (Hope) and Abigail Gibson (Joshua); his grandchildren, Zach, Gwen, Annabel and Levi; and his sister Wendy Kooyers.
