Laurence A. Langer Obituary

Laurence A. Langer age 84, of Kalamazoo passed away Wednesday May 13, 2026, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place. Larry was born February 4, 1942, in Detroit the son of Lawrence and Stella (Liuska). He was a graduate of Howell High School and THE UNIVERSITY of MICHIGAN, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Larry was employed by ARCO Industries in Schoolcraft and then for E.W. Bliss Co. in Salem, OH. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was the world's biggest UNIVERSITY of MICHIGAN fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching Michigan and Detroit sports with his wife, sons and friends. He also loved spending time in the garden with Christine and doing yardwork. He enjoyed playing cards and was in numerous euchre groups over the years. On October 19, 1963, in Pontiac Larry was united in marriage to Christine (Rea) Langer who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Stephen Langer, Michael Langer; three grandchildren, Zackary, Ciara, Dylan Langer. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, April Langer.
