The family will receive friends at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park beginning at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Humaine Society, c/o the funeral home.
Lillian Mae Graham, age 99, of Kalamazoo passed away at Northwoods Village on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born in Summit, South Dakota on November 21, 1925, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ida (Strom) Kittelson. Lillian was kind, loving and passionate. She was selfless with her time and gifts and lived life to the fullest. On August 27, 1950, she married the love of her life Guy W. Graham Jr. who preceded her in passing in 2005. Together they made their home in Southwest Michigan where they made wonderful memories. She had a love for the game of golf and was a member at Lake Doster Golf Club. She and Guy enjoyed sail boating in the summer and ice boating in the winter. They loved to travel and took memorable trips throughout the U.S. and abroad. Lillian was a regular at the "card games". Lillian loved wintering in Arizona where she made many friends. She also held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her loyal dog "Gi Gi". Lillian was very close with her niece, Helen Jones, who became like a sister to her, and they shared many happy moments together. Lillian's warm smile, laughter and love will be missed by all who know her and she leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. She is survived by her daughter, Gillian Graham; granddaughter, Kate (Shad) Hanselman; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Hanselman and niece, Helen Jones; extended family and friends.
