It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Consuelo Limon Smith of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband William Smith; her children, Esmeralda Martinez, Adrianna Smith, Isabell Smith, Esperanza Alvarado, Judisa Garcia, William Smith Jr., Elias Alvarado, Ismael Alvarado, Angel Hernandez and Tyler Fountain; her sisters, Irene Perez and Gracie Garcia; her sister-in-law Angela Pratt; and her grandchildren, Alessandra, Santiago, Mateo, Naviar, Julian, Adalina, Emilio, Alicia, Marco, Genesis, Dominic and Kimberly.
The family offers heartfelt thanks to Gracie Garcia for her love and support, and to Maria Sanchez, Yensi Hernandez, and Cynthia Juarez for organizing the raffles and GoFundMe.
