We bid farewell to Marian (Treur) Vander Meer Razenberg (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 13, 2025 at the age of 100. Marian touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband William Vander Meer; her former husband James Razenberg; her brothers, Abe Treur (Joanne) and Everett Treur; and her granddaughter Heather Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Brinks (Curt), Marjorie Booden (Paul), Sally Huyser (Mark), Jack Vander Meer (Mary), Daniel Vander Meer (Deb), Lynn Hoyt (Rick), Jan Westrate (Larry) and Robert Razenberg (Barb). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church (2857 S 11th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Kalamazoo Christian Schools Association, Heritage Christian Reformed Church, or Kalamazoo Valley Gleaners.
