With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Polderman (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marie left this world on November 14, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Timmer and Gertrude Timmer (Kreling); her brothers, Henry, David, Arthur, Adrian and Len Timmer; and her son-in-law Andrew Maxwell.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Polderman; her children, Laurie Klett (Ken), Ellen Maxwell (John Anema), Janice Ahrens (Ken), Elise VanZweden (John), Mary Balkema (Jim), Denise Bryce (Jeff) and John Polderman (Wanda); her siblings, Nelson Timmer (Joann), Bill Timmer (Linda), Gerald Timmer (Pauline) and Cora DeBat; and her sisters-in-law, Alberta Timmer and Leona Timmer. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
