He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Obreiter and Patricia Obreiter. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Obreiter; his children, Riann Thorpe (Curtis), Casey Obreiter (Mike Sullivan) and Kyle Obreiter (Simi); his grandchildren, Taylor Thorpe, Cal Thorpe, Layla Obreiter and Lucas Obreiter; and his siblings, Carolyn Massey (John) and Mike Comfort (Trixie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
